Client Coordinator (Entry-level)

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide.

Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Client Coordinator will be responsible for interfacing with base and contractor staff at Naval Support Activity Annapolis.

The candidate will collect all applicable background information to support development cost estimates for either facility repairs or maintenance by interacting and communicating with a wide team of professionals.

This is a part-time job with the possibility of long-term engagement.

Key responsibilities:
Review customer work requests and interact with a larger team for the accomplishment Interact with clients, contractors, and Navy Contracting Office to identify facility issues and coordinate recommended solutions Make visits to worksites to obtain information on facility/site conditions to support the development of appropriate remedial actions Coordinate all inputs for the development of draft project cost estimates for minor work, repair, and maintenance.

Inputs will include interviews of base/contractor personnel, pictures, and drawings.

Participate in regular progress meetings with Clients, contractors, Navy Contracting Office officials, and other interested parties regarding work in progress, completed, project status, discuss problems, and provide recommendations to resolve issues Coordinate technical support in answering requests for information (RFI) Review equipment inventories for accuracy and recommend additions and deletions to inventory lists.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications To be successful in the role:
Some College Degree is desired that sufficiently prepares the incumbent to communicate effectively with a range of levels within the organization Demonstrated ability to interface with clients, coordinate multiple tasks, and utilize web-based software to share files Ability to perform the strenuous activity while working outdoors in extreme heat or cold, working in confined spaces, climbing, and using fall protection equipment Proficient in using Microsoft Office suites Strong communications skills in English with the ability to work with others Must successfully pass a required security background investigation Has the US drivers license and must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits)
