Ready to be part of something special?Join our Family!Materials Handling Responsibilities:* Maintain inventory files in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet such as Mezzanine Inventory & Tomato Inventory.* Conduct daily cycle counts on ingredients, labels, etc. as required.* Inventory all raw ingredients at end of each week for yield tracing purposes.* Maintain production pick tickets, which includes printing tickets as per the daily production schedule, calculating the number of packages needed as per tickets, pulling and staging raw ingredients for the production lines, and keep all original pick tickets on file.* Maintain QA documentation, which includes Spec Sheets and Label Distribution Forms. Must calculate how many labels to pull & stage for production (based on the planned cases as per the production schedule) and obtain required QA approvals. Keep all originals on file.* Receive in raw ingredients and process into the system.* Rotate inventory of raw ingredients maintaining FIFO process and lot integrity.* Monitor expiration dates and maintain summary file on all upcoming materials that will be expiring.* Maintain glue inventories.* Read, understand and follow all information provided on Safety Data Sheets provided with materials.Product Handling Responsibilities:* Ensure raw materials and/or finished goods are stored in the correct area of the plant and/or warehouses so they may be easily located.* Load and unload transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed, per bill of lading.* Pull product and stage orders for production and/or delivery.* Input in required systems the shipping and receiving documents and making modifications of shipping documents for finished goods as needed.* Inventory/count finished goods as required.All Handlers Responsibilities:* Cross train on all Handler responsibilities.* Lift, stack and un-stack products and materials.* Complete daily Forklift Pre-Op Inspection Sheet.* Follow all guidelines as set forth in the Forklift Driver’s Manual and Policy.* Participate in all physical inventories for raw materials and/or finished goods (vacation black-out periods applicable).* Complete all documentation as needed.* Perform all duties while working safely by being aware and able to identify hazards, ensuring proper PPE is worn, maintaining a clutter free work area, following safety procedures and policies and all GMP rules.* Report all unsafe acts and unsafe working conditions immediately to supervision.* Responsible for ensuring food safety/quality polices are followed and reporting all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action. All responsible to make sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely.* All other duties are required.All Handler Requirements:* Maintain excellent attendance record* Maintain Forklift Certificate/License* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other general computer skills* Possess effective communication Skills* Reading/comprehension abilities* Ability to work independently* Ability to identify problems and respond accordinglyMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, squat, kneel, bend, push, pull, etc. Must be able to work in manufacturing environment.
