has an immediate opening for a motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator to fill a critical role to support Government programs in the Department of Defense (DoD) space.

This position can be based out of our Annapolis Junction, Maryland office or our Herndon, VA office.

In this role, the Contract Administrator will function as an individual contributor by managing a comprehensive portfolio of contracts and lead proposals efforts for various Agreements DoD industry.

This position has a high-level of accountability and responsibility that requires an individual who has in-depth knowledge and a strong understanding of: * Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplements, as well as other Agency Supplements.* Negotiating Subcontract, Teaming Agreement, and Non-Disclosure Agreements with other Government Contractors* Great business sense with a laser focus on growing business through relationships* Working and leading various projects Responsibilities * Provide full life-cycle contract management of various contract types, complexities, and sizes that will consist of monitoring contract period of performance, funding, and invoices/budgets to mitigate cost overruns.* Ensure compliance with contract policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to provide successful proposal and contract execution.* Identify and work with business unit and contract leadership to advise and resolve complex contractual challenges, including ability to meet schedules, cost and technical requirement concerns, and requirement changes.* Analyze, prepare, and submit proposals and quotes for various business opportunities* Support Program Managers by providing guidance on contractual requirements and mitigating the company’s risk.* Manage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects.* Develop strong customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working as a team leader to resolve issues and streamline processes.* Analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements such as Subcontract Agreements, Teaming, Non-Disclosure, and other binding agreements as the business opportunity presents.

Required Qualifications * A Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or equivalent discipline)* 5+ years of contract management (contracting and subcontracting) in Federal industry* Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS, GSA Federal Schedules, Federal IDIQ and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies* A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting the Intel Community agencies* Ability to obtain a Top Secret or higher security clearance (TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred) Desire Qualifications * Experience in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets* Proficiency working within a Contract Lifecycle Management tool such as GovWin or UNISOM* A strong work ethic, and you are a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team* Experience with Deltek* Working knowledge of the various contract types and terms* Experience in implementing policies and procedures* Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
