Product Manager

Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc

This is a Full-time position in Rockville, MD posted July 17, 2021.

Job Summary:

As a key member of the Supernus marketing organization, this individual will significantly contribute to the development of the overall business strategy, marketing communications, and tactical plans for the company’s brands of within Parkinson’s Disease.

The role will include significant responsibilities across many marketing categories, including development of promotional materials, as well as partnership in building out the marketing capabilities of the company.

This role will also be responsible for the creating and execution of the marketing business plan as well as the development of partnerships with the Parkinson’s community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning Participation in the development of brand strategies and tactics.

Managing professional promotional programs, HCP partnerships, and medical marketing programs.

Liaising with sales management and training department to develop necessary tools and training for field force.

Evaluation and ROI assessment of promotional programs.

Achievement of prescription and revenue objectives.

Managing annual expense budgets.

Field Force Integration (Readiness, Training, etc.).

Develop medical marketing strategy to optimize brand value.

Prepare product message and communication strategies which adapt the core strategy and positioning to specific market segments.

Build a medical marketing tactical plan identifying options within and across the marketing mix, incorporating cross functional input.

Align all tactical elements with overall brand strategy and ensure that all tactical programs deliver optimal ROI.

Create and lead execution of key opinion leader development program, supporting product strategy and achieving overall objectives.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.

Business and/or biological science education with concentration in marketing are preferred (Advanced education a plus).

6+ years of related experience.

Minimum 2 years of US in-line pharmaceutical marketing, neuroscience experience preferred.

Proven track record of KOL development, medical marketing strategy development and tactical implementation.

Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) are a must.

High level of analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills.

Proven track record of strong execution and results.

Strong executive presence and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.

Additional requirements include the ability to lead and manage multiple vendors.

– 30% of travel is required.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Sedentary work.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
